Activities
In the heart of the country, VLST was commissioned by Antonides, under the leadership of foreman drillers Patrick, Hans and assistant foreman driller Vincent, to execute open front drilling. While the trains continued to thunder past uninterrupted between Utrecht and Zwolle, they drilled 39 metres of GRP 530 Ø electricity pipelines under the railway. Despite the miserable weather, it is always a joy to see how clean and tidy open front drilling takes place.
Special Circumstances
The drilling was executed from a residential neighbourhood under an important rail connection. Thanks to the technology used, train traffic could continue without interruption. Consolidation of this electricity supply will allow a certain sauce factory, which shall not be named, to continue to pump its delicious sauces.
