Activities
In this project, a trajectory of 770 metres of SLA 3.0 HDPE ø 500 mm drinking water pipeline was installed using the HDD drilling technique.
Special Circumstances
The installation operation required the combined efforts of 11 telescopic cranes and a number of mobile caterpillar cranes. By suspending the pipeline in a supple arched shape, it could be pulled in place in a controlled manner above the cycle path and access roads. The installation operation was successfully completed with the required pulling power of max. 10 tons.
